I am always a big fan of originality. Is it simplistic? Sure it is! It is not trying to be a mainstream desktop or mainframe OS. It is simply an OS that a guy wrote in his spare time as an intellectual exercise. And to that I say it is a fine effort.
It is stupid to keep alive 2 different branches with 2 different problems to fix ; and the fault is here, not on HC side As others have mentioned, this program used to be at the top of the heap of replacement WM players, but now it's showing it's age and other players such as The KMPlayer have totally eclipsed it in terms of functionality and stability. Why don't they increment the version number the NORMAL way to designate a new version instead of keeping it and changing the "build date" instead?
